RDS Logistics – Terms & Conditions

## 1. Scope of Services
RDS Logistics provides shipping, freight handling, customs clearance assistance, storage, and delivery services. All services are subject to these Terms & Conditions.
## 2. Shipping Rates
All shipping rates are available on the RDS Logistics website and can be calculated using the online rate calculator. Any changes to shipping rates will be communicated to customers prior to being put into effect.
## 3. Weight & Measurement Policy
* Air Freight: Charges are calculated strictly by actual weight only.
* Sea Freight: Charges may be calculated using volumetric measurements where applicable.
## 4. Prohibited & Restricted Items
Customers are responsible for ensuring shipments do not contain prohibited or restricted items. A list of restricted and prohibited items will be published on the RDS Logistics website. RDS Logistics is not liable for confiscated or rejected shipments.
## 5. Customs, Duties & Delays
Customs duties, taxes, inspections, or penalties imposed by authorities are the responsibility of the customer. RDS Logistics is not responsible for customs delays; however, any delays will be communicated to customers accordingly.
## 6. Shipping & Delivery Schedule
Airline arrival days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Packages will be delivered 24 to 48 hours after arrival. In the event of delays, customers will be notified accordingly.
## 7. Storage Policy
All packages will be stored free of charge for fourteen (14) days. After this period, a storage fee of JMD $100 per day will apply until the package is collected or delivered.
## 8. Shipment & Delivery Delays
Delays may occur during both shipment and delivery due to airline schedules, customs processing, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances. Customers will be notified accordingly.
## 9. Loss or Damage
RDS Logistics is not liable for damage caused by manufacturer defects, supplier issues, or carrier handling. Claims must be reported within the specified claim period.
## 10. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipment details, including correct names, addresses, and contact information. Errors may result in delays or loss of packages.
## 11. Force Majeure
RDS Logistics is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its control, including natural disasters, airline disruptions, strikes, or government actions.
## 12. Amendments
RDS Logistics reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately once published.
## 13. Acceptance of Terms
Use of RDS Logistics’ services constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
